Beloved Tricia – Three days before you left us, we were planning a fun weekend in Tahoe. Five weeks before you left us, we tromped around in the mud looking for adventure, and we shared stories about love and loss. I think I’m in denial that you’re gone, because I see you everywhere. And I keep thinking it must be just a big misunderstanding, you can’t be gone forever.
In our brief 16 years as friends, we celebrated friends’ weddings, we skied, and we dressed in group costumes. We lost at Escape Rooms, we pretended to be Las Vegas showgirls (#flamingoesforever), and we relaxed at girls weekends. But mostly, we danced, we laughed and we talked about things that mattered. I am not ready to say goodbye, but I guess that part is out of my hands. I love you Trishie, and I will always miss you.
