Hello I am Chris Gilsenan, long-time friend, travel buddy and neighbor to Tricia.  It is nice to see each of you here today, to see how well-loved she is. There is something that I wanted to say to Tricia’s parents during a visit a few years ago, and I will say it now:   Most of us can name one or two favorite people.

Tricia was a true gamer. She could find the thread of fun in almost any situation and make whole cloth from it. One very memorable example of this occurred in February of 2020 - the good part of 2020 - before the pandemic arrived.  I took Tricia with me on a ski trip to Colorado where I lived before I moved to San Francisco. We

We all know that Tricia was a master of words and how to turn a phrase. During the first week of the pandemic social distancing period (March 2020) we were talking about the parking problem outside my apartment now that everyone was working from home. One car in particular was the object of my ire as it was taking the space of two cars

On New Years Day 2008, I met up with Tricia at our community’s annual celebration. Because it was a day-long event, one needed to pack a bag full of comfort items like sunglasses, snacks, a jacket, sunscreen, etc. Much to my dismay, I opened my bag at the party, only to find that instead of my regular pack, I had brought my son’s nearly

Tricia and I have been friends for over two decades. We didn’t see each other all the time, but when we did, there was an ease and warmth, as well as a lot of deliciously bad puns. After I moved to Truckee from San Francisco in 2019, we’d meet up in the mountains to ski or hike. In nature, far removed from the party

1. Intro Hello everyone. For those of you who may not know me, my name is Bruce Penn, and for those of you who do know me, my name is also Bruce Penn, weird how that happens. I am honored to be standing up here today to pay tribute to our very dear friend, Trishie. I've been friends with Trishie for 23 years, and I'm

Been such a challenging past week, can't believe this is our current reality. Grateful and honored to have had 23 years of friendship, ridiculousness, connection, reciprocal support, and next-level bantering. I miss and love you so much Trishie, will try to step up and be strong for our community per your spiritual directives. Love you Trishie!!!

“Look at the rainbow!!!” Yes, we see her dressed in pink.! Trishie, This last year was the happiest I had seen you in a long time.. I am sorry we do not get to follow through with the ‘epic party’ we were planning but grateful for the heartfelt silly time we spent together talking logistics. I will hold on to all of those sweet funny moments

Oh Trishie. Thank you for being wonderful, sweet, smart, punny, fun, funny you. I'll cherish our many adventures together. Our many deep talks. The endless laughs. I'm grateful for the time we got to bask in your light, which we'll continue to feel, shining on us through starlight, golddust and sunbeams.

How does one person bring so much to the world? I never laughed like I did with you. You walked into a room and owned it in seven different ways, eyes always shining with mischief. A million friends orbited around your star system, sometimes colliding with unpredictable results, and alternately drawn to the Trishie center. We are all richer for having you in our lives.
