What a massive gaping hole in in the heart,
what a blow to us all, but…
What a wonderful blessing, what a true privilege it is to have known you.
To have laughed with you, danced with you, traveled with you, explored with you and gotten into all kinds of trouble with you.
To have talked til the whee hours on everything from politics to curly-hair-hacks with you,
and to have been just plain silly with you.
My heart is heavy today, but maybe, just maybe, that’s because of all the gifts you left in it.
Rest well, dear Tricia. We’ll see you when we get there.
