Trishie my heart is beyond broken. For over two decades, you’ve been a steady source of kindness, authenticity, fun, mischief, and some of the most deliciously bad puns I’ve ever heard. Thank you for who you were in the world.
I just spent a week with you sharing a van, a tent, and many profound moments and conversations. I am so deeply grateful I had that time with you. On our 13 hour journey home that extended through night and into the morning, you said, “I’ve got you,” and you did. You never fell asleep as the passenger, even though we were both painfully exhausted. We sang songs, we ate PB&J sandwiches, we talked about what really matters (love, friendship, connection), and we cried and laughed so hard we weren’t sure what the tears were actually for. But this time, I know exactly what my tears are for – you. I will miss you dearly.
