Remembering Tricia

Facebook Tribute by Alexander Escobar

It’s hard to let go of such a beautiful soul.

Tricia and I would talk about photography, photographers, and the way an image can impact the world: document a birth, raise funds for a worthy project, turn the tide on the support of a war, capture priceless family moments, earn a living with legit clients, and document the sadness of loss. She understood the photographers mission.

She would tell me stories about her Dad and his adventures as a photographer. Tricia and I worked on professional creative jobs together and I was recommending her to a new project right before she passed. She was a highly skilled creative that could deliver the goods. She had that creative magic spark.

The attached pool party photo we created together is one of my favorite iconic images from that golden time – a moment I will always have on replay in my mind.

It’s a tragedy to me and I’ll miss seeing her welcoming shinning presence, her beauty, her wit, her inclusiveness, and the spontaneous fun that happened all around her.

In loving memory of Tricia; I’ve made a $100 direct donation to the Good Shepherd Gracenter in San Francisco. https://gsgracenter.org/ Tricia always asked me for updates on the pro bono short film work I create to raise funds for this unique and worthy women’s shelter that helps make a real and lasting difference in our favorite city – San Francisco.

Life is short – tell everyone you love them.
